Just few days a go I had a client, where remote keypad from Veritas R8, stops communicating to the panel. You could see back light, on the RKP but pressing any key did not make any different. The main fuse was need it replacing as well, I reboot the panel disconnecting the battery and main supply, without success, I also cut the ends of each connection striped and connect again, still not respond, then I change Transmission and Receiver to different pair of cable, and all start communicated. IT looks like the power cut, can even damage the wiring.
